Miss Seely's class and Mrs. Childers' kindergarten classes have been on a special mission—collecting Valentines from all 50 states! Through this amazing project, we received so many wonderful Valentines from across the country, along with fun postcards, stickers, books about different states, coloring pages, gifts, and more!
Not only did our students enjoy opening their special mail, but they also learned how letters travel from place to place through the post office. Plus, we explored geography using our United States map, making connections to where each Valentine came from. This was such a fun way to combine literacy, social studies, and hands-on learning!
