Senior Trip 2025 was a success! MOHS seniors escaped from Escape the Room STL, climbed at Ryze Adventure Park, and perfected their golf skills at Top Golf! 💜💛

As Teacher Appreciation Week wraps up, we would like to give some Thank You's to those that helped celebrate our wonderful teachers and staff.
Thank you to the High School and Junior High Student Councils, Mrs. Cann, Mr. Grider, our lovely kitchen staff, and Grand Canyon University. The week was filled with inspiring messages and delicious treats!

Our kindergarten class had an amazing field trip to Marcoot Jersey Creamery in Greenville! The students were full of excitement as we explored the farm and learned all about life on a dairy farm. We got to see adorable calves up close, and the kids were fascinated as they watched the cows being milked and learned how the milk is collected and processed. One of the highlights was getting to "milk" some fake cows, which gave the students a fun, hands-on experience and lots of laughs. We also had the chance to sample fresh cheese and creamy ice cream, both made right at the creamery—it was absolutely delicious! The friendly staff at Marcoot shared so much about the importance of agriculture and where our dairy products come from, making the trip both fun and educational. The kids asked great questions, listened intently, and truly enjoyed every part of the experience. It was a wonderful day full of learning, excitement, and sweet memories!

Mrs. Childers’ and Miss Seely’s Kindergarten Classes Adopt a Cow! 🐄🐄
Our kindergarteners had an udderly amazing experience this year through the Adopt-A-Cow program with Hogg’s Dairy Farm! They adopted two cows, Sunny and Sprinkles, and tracked their growth by graphing their height and weight each month.
Today, the fun came full circle as the classes got to meet their adopted cows in person—and even pet the farms newest baby calf, Charlie, who is just 3 days old!
What a mooo-velous way to bring learning to life!

Thank you Mrs. Scheller and FOCUS5! 🎉🎉
The third through eighth grade enjoyed a field trip to attend the Grizzlies Baseball Game on April 29 and would like to thank Mrs. Scheller and FOCUS5 for funding the IAR incentive to make the field trip happen! First of all, the fun started with, Izzy the mascot, visiting our school to entertain Pre-K through eighth-grade students with activities and laughter to promote positivity and motivation to try hard on the IAR Test, which is given to 3-8 grade students. Students were then able to attend a Grizzlies baseball game after the test as a fun incentive. Mrs. Scheller purchased the visit for Izzy, the mascot, and paid for 4 buses for the field trip. Thanks to FOCUS5, we were able to purchase a ticket for every 3-8 grade student, including teachers. The tickets included the game, hot dog, chips, and a drink. Once we returned to school, the cafeteria workers were ready to offer snacks and a drink as well. We are very fortunate to have the support to motivate and encourage our students with fun incentives. Thank you, Mrs. Scheller. Thank you FOCUS5 and thank you to the cafeteria workers! We appreciate your support!

🍎🚌 On Tuesday, April 9th, our 2nd grade classes visited the Magic House. They got to have a private exploration of the classic (original) section of the Magic House. Students also got to explore the rest of the Magic House, and had a hands-on STEAM class using "forces-in-motion" where they learned to create different forms of motion using household items.
Thank you to FOCUS5 for funding the field trip for our 2nd grade classes. We are so fortunate to have such a great organization that is always supporting our students and classrooms. It was a fun day of learning!📚🖍️

📣 Student Shout-Out! 🌟
We’re proud to share a kind message we received about one of our 6th-grade students, Kale Fenton. A grateful caller let us know how much it meant to them when Kale noticed him struggling to climb the bleachers at the conference track meet in Staunton earlier this week—and didn’t hesitate to lend a helping hand.
Kale’s thoughtful action is a great reminder that small gestures can make a big impact. Way to show kindness and leadership, Kale—we’re proud of you!
