📣 Student Shout-Out! 🌟
We’re proud to share a kind message we received about one of our 6th-grade students, Kale Fenton. A grateful caller let us know how much it meant to them when Kale noticed him struggling to climb the bleachers at the conference track meet in Staunton earlier this week—and didn’t hesitate to lend a helping hand.
Kale’s thoughtful action is a great reminder that small gestures can make a big impact. Way to show kindness and leadership, Kale—we’re proud of you!

We have 6 pairs of glasses that have not been claimed from our Elementary Lost & Found. Please reach out to your child's teacher or the office if you believe one of these belongs to your child.

The physics class has been learning about momentum, impulse, and decreasing the force experienced by an object. They built structures to protect an egg as it was dropped from different heights. Congratulations to Briley and Ellie, their eggs did not break!

🎃🌱 Spring has arrived in Miss Seely’s Kindergarten class, and so have the pumpkin sprouts! After reading Pumpkin Jack and carving our class pumpkin, Tina, in the fall, we watched her decompose over the winter... and now she’s back! 🌸 The kids came in today to see the first signs of life—pumpkin sprouts! Can’t wait to watch them grow and bloom this season! 🌷

🌟 A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to Kindergarten Family Night! 🌟
We had such a fun and memorable evening celebrating our amazing students. Families enjoyed sweet songs performed by our kinders, classroom superlatives, Rocket Math awards, and the creative Star Attraction posters made by students and their families. We wrapped up the night with snacks and smiles shared among friends and loved ones.
A special thank you to Mrs. Titsworth, Mrs. McDowel, our Title Reading program, and ALL of our incredible kindergarten teachers for hosting and organizing such a wonderful event! 💛📚🎶

Attention parents to incoming kindergartners!

Students in Mr. McAnulty’s Computer Concepts class are learning about programming algorithms by designing and refining their own. Students began by creating algorithms about everyday decisions. Then at the end of the unit, were tasked with designing an algorithm for a self-driving car that sensed an object in the road. Students had to not only account for driver safety and safety of those around them, but also traffic and road conditions.

Please fill out this short survey if you would be interested in a free summer meal pick-up. This survey is to gage interest in the program. It does not guarantee the program.
