Girls' high school volleyball practice will begin on August 11th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. There will be a parent meeting at 6:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Pence at cpence@mtoliveschools.org.

Boys and girls high school golfers, please contact Coach Hanson via email rhanson@gomadison.com or Remind App regarding the practice schedule and parent meeting.

Jr High Baseball try-outs will begin on August 4 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Mt Olive field. There will be a player/parent meeting before practice at 5:15 p.m. An updated physical must be on file. If you have any questions, contact Coach Rocky.

The Macoupin County Public Health Department will have their "Medical Mobile Unit" parked outside of the Junior High on September 10th from 8:30am until 12:00pm. Mrs. Pastrovich's class has been working hard to create a book about animals. Each student searched through multiple animals to pick the perfect choice. They researched facts and wrote about their chosen animal. Then they worked on their own illustrations. Thanks to a generous donation from Dr. D. Ross Billiter (through the Academic Foundation) we had it made into a professionally bound book! We are authors!

Mrs. Close's Art 1 and Art 2 high school classes collaborated with our 2nd graders on a drawing/ceramic monster project! The 2nd graders drew and colored monsters and then the high school students brought them to life through ceramics! The high school students got to give the 2nd graders their monster to keep. The monsters turned out amazing!
