After patiently waiting 21 days, Mrs. Pastrovich's First Grade class has officially become chicken farmers! We successfully hatched 20 chicks after spending the weeks leading up to it learning facts about the incubating and hatching process. We're now busy holding, petting, and watching them grow in our classroom. Thank you to the Academic Foundation for the grant that gave us the incubator a year ago, it's the gift that keeps on giving. A very special thank you to Samantha Young for donating the chicken eggs. We are all so incredibly grateful!
