On October 8, 2025, Seniors had the opportunity to attend the Capital Area Education Fair in Springfield with Mrs. Monke. This is one of the largest education fairs in our area, with representatives from over 70 universities, community colleges, branches of the military, and technical education providers. Students can interact with representatives, gather information to bring home, and win prizes. It was a great day for our students!
The Pre-K through 3rd grade classes visited the Mt. Olive Fire Station this week for Fire Safety Month! The classes had a great time being able to get into the fire trucks and spay the hose!! Thank you to the Mt. Olive Volunteer Fire Department!
The lunch ladies tried out a new breakfast recipe this morning, Breakfast Banana Splits!

Our 8th graders had an unforgettable experience at the NHRA Midwest Nationals! They were able to dive into the science behind racing while also exploring exciting future career opportunities. A huge thank you to Alex Wessel for helping our students learn more about how a NHRA dragster works and also providing our students with a special visit to the Kyle Wurtzel racing pit area.

The Mt. Olive Junior High STEAM Club kicked off the year with a 3-D pen challenge, creating custom “Mr. Potato Heads.” Students showed great teamwork and creativity, making the first meeting a success!
